In another blog post I mentioned how I recently purchased a Fujifilm X-T10 camera and that the kit lens was good but not great. I was used to the 35mm lens length on previous cameras so I knew I needed to get something new that fit my needs. Several local friends gave great reviews about the Fujinon XF35mm F2 R WR lens. I purchased it 3 months or so after my camera purchase (late January 2016).
I am very happy with my purchase of the Fujinon XF35mm F2 R WR lens. This lens came out on the market just a few months after I had already been using my camera. The auto focus is very fast. Being able to stop down to F2 and still have clean crisp photos is delightful. I love that the aperture stops are on ring of the lens (this is a feature many of the mirrorless cameras have). The lens is not heavy at all, nor does it feel heavy when mounted on the Fujifilm X-T10. It feels very sturdy and well made. I have been extremely happy with this lens and I highly recommend adding it to your Fujifilm lens collection. You can see many examples using this lens on my Instagram feed (just check the hashtags I always label if I used my fujifilm camera). Also many of my product photos on this blog are from my Fujifilm X-T10 with the XR35mm F2 R WR lens.
It is on Amazon at a great price, follow the link below to go directly to the product.
(FYI- the photos of the Fujinon XF35mm F2 R WR used here were taken by myself using an iPod touch. Obviously I wasn't able to use my camera to take a picture of my Fuji lens)
