Gluten-Free Spinach Fettuccine Review

In February 2017 at the GFAF Expo I was introduced to a rep from RP Pasta Company.  RP Pasta Company sells fresh gluten-free pasta.  After tasting the sample I knew I was going to love eating pasta again.

I have a love/hate relationship with gluten-free pasta normally.  I love it but I hate to cook it because I always manage to mess it up and either over-cook or under-cook the pasta.  I decided to pick up a package at my local Natural Foods Co-op and give it a try.  I was limited in the choices of pasta to purchase but they did have RP Pasta Company Gluten-Free Spinach Fettuccine available in the refrigerator isle.

Upon bringing it home it sat in my fridge for a few days before it was family pasta night.  Once my water was boiling I opened the package and placed in the Fettuccine.  I gave it a swirl with my wooden spoon in hopes it wouldn't stick together.  I ended up cooking it a bit longer than the directions because I am not a fan of al dente pasta.  After draining the water I added a basil pesto sauce on top before serving.

I was surprised this particular pasta did not break apart into pieces after it was cooked.  The noodles remained as long as they were in the package.  The taste and the texture was wonderful, I actually felt like I was eating a non gluten-free fettuccine noodle.  My non gluten-free family members wanted to eat my pasta instead of theirs because it looked so good, but I didn't share.  Overall I really enjoy this pasta and look forward to trying other gluten-free flavors from RP Pasta Company.
