I've only ever seen one Broadway Musical about 10 years ago at the Sacramento Community Center Theater.  I was so excited when I received an invite to attend Disney's Aladdin with a group of several Sacramento Influencers.  I am a huge Disney Fan so getting the opportunity to attend this Broadway Musical of Aladdin is a dream come true!

Attending a Live theater show is such an incredible opportunity, one that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.  I want to share FIVE of the many reasons why you must see a Musical on Broadway, especially when it comes to Disney's Aladdin the Musical.

The Set

The set is full of intricate details which reveals the tone for the story about to unfold.  The set is more than just stage props it also is the lighting, the sound, the scenes, and much more.

Cast & Crew

Without all the talented Cast and Crew the show would not even exist.  These skillful people have spent a long time rehearsing all their parts and perfecting their craft.  There is no part too small, all parts both onstage and behind the scenes are VERY Important!

The Music

The music of the show really pulls the audience in by telling the story in a way you have never experienced before.  The actors voices and the Live Orchestra are just breathtakingly phenomenal.  Leaving you on the edge of your seat in excitement as you wait for the next scene.

The Costumes

Costume design I imagine is not an easy task.  The costumes have to fit each Actor perfectly and be on point for the time period of each scene.  Each costume is full of color and intricate details which help to bring the Characters to Life for the audience.

The Dancing & Choreography

The dancing & choreography has to be timed perfectly and flawlessly with the music in such a way if a step was missed the audience would never know.  This helps not only connect the music to the scene but brings the Character to life for the audience.

My personal thoughts on Disney's Aladdin the Musical

I attended the 8pm show of Disney's Aladdin the Musical on a rainy May 16th, 2019 at the Sacramento Community Theater. I wasn't going to let a little bit of rain stop me from dressing up in a Genie Inspired Disney Bound. This was actually my first time officially Disney Bounding and I admit I was a little nervous. I received so many compliments on my outfit that evening, it has given me the self confidence to do this more often!

Disney Bounding is using your everyday clothes to create a look that resembles a certain Disney Character without being in a full costume. It can be as simple as wearing similar colors of the character like I did.

Disney's Aladdin the Musical show was outstanding. All the reasons to attend a Broadway show I listed above were spot on for Aladdin the Musical. My absolute favorite parts of the hit Broadway show was when Aladdin was in the Cave of Wonders. The Cave of Wonders was so beautiful; I got chills and goosebumps during each scene.

While the show is titled Aladdin the Musical, I felt like Genie really stole the heart of many in the audience.  Major Attaway who had the role that evening of the Genie was so phenomenal!  His voice, his stage presence and his humor made me instantly fall in love!

Disney's Aladdin the Musical is one Broadway show you MUST SEE!

Tickets are still available for Sacramento.
